Overview

OTTO is a personal guitar practice tracker. Your data is used solely to provide the app's features. OTTO does not sell your data, run ads, or share your practice data for advertising purposes.

What we collect

• Email address and display name, provided via Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple
• Practice sessions — start time, duration, rating, and notes
• Songs — title, artist, tuning, capo, status, and notes
• Sections — name, target BPM, and notes
• Practice entries — type, duration, BPM practised, quality rating, and notes
• Goals and app settings — e.g. daily practice goal

How we use your data

• To display your practice history, stats, and progress
• To calculate streaks, BPM improvements, and session summaries
• For no other purpose — your data is never used for advertising or profiling

Third-party services

• Firebase Authentication — manages sign-in via Google or Apple
• Cloud Firestore — stores your practice data securely on Google's servers
• Google Sign-In — provides authentication through your Google account
• Sign in with Apple — provides authentication through your Apple ID
• Apple iTunes Search API — used only for song search and album artwork lookup; no personal data is sent

Data sharing

OTTO does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except as required to operate the services listed above (Firebase, Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple). No data is shared for advertising.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app:

• Go to Profile → Delete account
• Confirm the deletion in the prompt

This removes all your songs, sections, sessions, entries, settings, and your account credentials. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
